KHANYA: APOLOGY

Sowetan reports that the reality TV star Khanya has addressed the backlash she received from The Ultimatum: South Africa viewers in a social media post.

“Hi to everyone that has been tuning into The Ultimatum South Africa. I understand if some of you may feel like I was out of line with some of my words and actions.

“It was an intense experience for me, and I handled it the best way I could. Just like how it was not easy for other cast members watching their partners with other people, it was not easy for me too.

“I have apologised already to those that I have wronged and would like to thank everybody for being so invested in the show and sharing their thoughts on the reality show.

“I acknowledge I’m a strong personality and say things that only others dare to think. Making TV aside, we are dealing with real people and real emotions here. It’s in the past and a lot has happened since then including healing and transformation,” she wrote.

Despite her apology and explanation, South Africans are not convinced she’s sincere. Viewers of the dating show are protective of Ntateko and don’t want him to receive any further emotional distress.

X USER CLAIMS NQOLASE ‘BULLIED’ HER AT SCHOOL

Daily News reports that a South African woman, Busiswa Stemele, reveals she was bullied by Khanya Nqolase from The Ultimatum: South Africa.

Stemele reveals she was bullied by Nqolase during their time at Erica Primary School in Port Elizabeth.

“Imagine seeing your childhood bully on a trending show in South Africa. I was watching The Ultimatum South Africa and I saw this particular girl, and she looks familiar.

“Khanya was my primary school bully. We were about eight or nine, she was selfish, wants to get her own way, a bully of note, narcissistic to the core. I was so triggered. It took me back to a particular incident in primary school.

“She literally shoved a sandwich down my throat,” adds Stemele in the video.
